Wisdom For Each Day – November 27, 2014

Whenever we sit down for a meal, let us not forget that at least half the world goes to bed hungry.  When we enjoy the comfort of our home, let us not forget that millions have no home to go to.  As we ride in our car, let us not forget that many people in the world cannot afford even a bicycle.

Whenever we go to church to thank God for our material and spiritual blessings, let us remember that millions have never heard the gospel, the good news of salvation in Christ.

May our gratitude find expression in our prayers and our service for others, and in our commitment to live wholly for Christ.

If anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need but has no pity on him, how can the love of God be in him?
